 DR. DAC2 DX volume become very low suddenly...

Developer: Algo Views: 12011

Until yesterday my DR. DAC2 DX worked fine.

But it's volume become very low suddenly whatever I turn up or down volume controller.

I try to change all OPAMP and other headphones, but it still very low.

Please kindly give me some advise. Thanks a lot!

Due to to the nature of the TENOR chipset used in the DR.DAC2 DX, if you reconnect after disconnecting the USB cable, there is a phenomenon that Windows Master Volume becomes lower by 50%.
Please check Master Volume, also check it from another computer.

I checked every kind volume setting of windows, and I connected PS3 by optical fiber however DAC's output volume was still very low. I think that TENOR chipset is fine, because USB port always work well.

ok, I found out cause of this issue. The power IC broken because it overheated!!
I think this is a design issue because this IC always very hot.
Now I replace new IC and move it to back of PCB. Than I add big heat sink on it to fix this design issue!
In all honesty,I am very disappointed for this design and your support.
I think I should not buy any AUDIOTRAK's product again....
